A 150-kilo baby elephant was born at Beauval Zoo in central France on Sunday, Feb. 15, after a delicate seven-hour delivery. The female calf was born at 4 a.m. to 37-year-old African elephant N’Dala, who is blind and relies on touch to care for her newborn.
